Poster/Display Marketing - eye catching and attention grabbing!

Need to grab the attention of your audience with an eye catching poster which draws your customers in? Whatever you are after we can help; right through from conception, design, print and delivery!

For all your poster/display marketing needs we offer a bespoke service from creation to completion. To ensure your event stands out, ask our advice on the design of your poster. We can help with capturing and sourcing imagery, drawing bespoke graphics and illustrations and composing the type matter to create maximum impact.

Our Xerox 770 digital press is most cost effective for printing full colour posters up to A3 size (larger format posters using Inkjet are available). Posters can be mounted onto Foamex or Foam Core board and matt sealed, which is ideal for exhibitions or more permanent installations.

For longer print runs, posters are produced on our range of lithographic presses in both process (CMYK) and spot colour (Pantone). Spot colour printing has the advantage of cost effective one and two colour printing, also more vibrant colours are possible.

Material choice is unlimited with access to paper from all over the world. We have a comprehensive range of samples and previously printed jobs to help inform your choice. Fluorescent papers are available which make a simple bold design printed in black ink really stand-out. Synthetic paper has the advantage of being weather proof for long term out-door displays.

Glossary of Terms:

CYMK/Process Colour: is a colour model made up of percentages of Cyan (blue), Magenta (Pink/Red), Yellow, and Key (Black)

Spot Colour/Pantone Colour: Spot colour can produce a superior image when compared to process colour (CYMK) as the image is 100% solid rather than being made up of dots, subject to artwork specification. The Pantone range includes fluorescent and metallic colours, we can also mix ink to match a sample colour supplied, as you might enjoy from your Dulux paint supplier.

Stationery made simple!

Make creating your stationery even simpler with our design inspired tip to save you time and money, and make your life easier!

To save you money we have devised a cost effective and efficient generic letter heading system. Rather than have a number of different versions of the same letter heading for different departments or people within your organisation, we supply produce a professionally printed letter heading for you which can be personalised at a local level using a specially designed template to ensure consistency. This offers great flexibility whilst protecting the brand of an organisation. The number of laser printers required is also reduced as a single machine can be used by a number of different people without the need to keep changing the paper. This method of creating a letter head enable you to send out more communications to a high professional standard personalised to an individual or department. Generic letter headings can be used for a number of applications; press releases, fact sheets, case studies, as well as various office documents.

With so much cyber business communication the power of a well composed letter delivered on a professionally designed and printed letter heading demands to be taken seriously.

Holywell’s consultative approach ensures that you can explore the best solutions and create the right impression. From graphic design, choice of printing process, selection of material and special finishes, we can help and advise you.

In this digital age paper systems are often overlooked in favour of expensive digital hardware running complicated software which is time consuming to use. For many applications paper based systems are quicker to complete, provide a ‘signed for’ record and a professionally printed branded top copy for your customer.

Stationery items:

Letter headings, compliment slips, envelopes, business cards, appointment cards, order forms, confirmation of order, order acknowledgement, delivery notes, invoices, statements, payslips.

Forms can be supplied as NCR sets (self-carbon copies), these can be supplied in books with wrap around covers and writing shields.

Holywell has a wealth of experience in producing complicated data capture booklets for medical trials, so regardless of the complexity of the data you need to capture, we can help.

Design:

Graphic design is a vital element of professionally printed business cards and we have a wealth of experience in creating the right image for you. We are happy to take a project from any stage, from brand identity to working within existing brand guidelines. We will discuss your requirements with you and provide a range of options for you to choose from. Concepts are developed into finished artwork for approval before printing the perfect business card for you.

Summary:

In summary the best place to start when creating your business cards is with the design. Taking all your bespoke requirements you then move onto the printing method, the paper, and finish.

CYMK/Process Colour: is a colour model made up of percentages of Cyan (blue), Magenta (Pink/Red), Yellow, and Key (Black)

Lithographic Printing Press: Lithography printing originally used an image drawn (etched) into a coating of wax or an oily substance applied to a plate of lithographic stone as the medium to transfer ink to a blank paper sheet, and so produce a printed page.

gsm: grams per square metre – referring to the weight of the card used.

Digital Printing Press: Digital printing refers to a number of different technologies; our digitally printed business cards are produced on a Xerox 770 press which uses an electrostatic process to charge an image belt with the printed page. The toner is attracted to the belt and the image is transferred from the belt to the card or paper and then fused.
